Fun Weekend Trips

As we've heard from folks from here, the best thing about New Jeresey is its proximity to other places on the East Coast.  We've taken advantage of lots of weekend trips,  as well as had some family visitors!

For the fourth of July, we went to Tanglewood, at outdoor music venue in Massachusetts, with my parents. 

The unseasonably cold weather made for a long day!  We barely held out for the fireworks...

We decided to head back to Tanglewood for James Taylor and Sheryl Crow in August, which was much more successful...they were amazing live!

Then we headed to Pittsburgh for Craig's cousin's Jenna's beautiful wedding .  Here we are with our favorite nieces at the Pirates Game the night after the wedding.

We went to NYC several times, with family and to see friends!

Princeton was beautiful.

Philly was one of our favorite trips - beautiful weather and a packed day of cheese steaks, history and Rocky.

Craig's parents visited for our birthday weekend!

We braved the rain in DC for our 31st birthday gift to each other.

We can't seem to escape the rain.  Here we are attempting to see the Fall leaves in Vermont, with Todd chugging his recently purchased maple syrup

It was great to have Todd and Sarah at our place in NJ for a night at Thanksgiving.  Here they are drinking the romance drink for two at our favorite Chinese restaurant.  Interestingly, we also had a message from Baby Mickey on our message board when they left...I wonder how it got there.

Preggers Pics

Wk 36 - It's almost time!  Starting to feel a bit uncomfortable. Anyone have any tips for heartburn?

Wk 26 - Then we got lazy and didn't take pictures for a while.  I think this is around week 26, but really not quite sure!

Wk 19 - Not much different.

Wk 18 - Here I am at 18 weeks, funny I thought this shirt would continue to fit me throughout the pregnancy for all the pics, which clearly did not happen.

Wk 12 -  We'll start with some of the preggers pics...Here we are right when we announced! My friend Julie and her family sent us a darling, and yummy, cookie bouquet. As you can see, very little sign of Baby M at this point, but not for long.

Live from New Jersey...it's the Mickeys!

The Mickeys are now officially bloggers.  With few friends, okay who are we kidding, no friends in New Jersey, we have lots of extra time, and lots of pregnancy and baby planning pictures waiting to be shared.  We'll see how often Craig gets online, but we think it will be fun to share with everyone, especially when Baby Mickey arrives in January! 


So now that we're 8 months in, we'll go back in time and share some of the early pictures and stories, hopefully getting caught up by the time Baby M gets here :)
